Welcome back to our Free Thai Lesson by Gemmy and Affy. Today we are going to learn Thai Numerals 1-10.
It’s not as difficult as some of you may think because we have some good tricks for you to understand and remember how to write Thai Numerals 1-10 with ease and fun.
Let’s get started! เริ่มกันได้เลยค่ะ (Ream-kan-dai-leoy-ka)
- How to write Thai number 1 (๑) : you draw a small circle and 1 bigger around.
- How to write Thai number 2 (๒) : First you have to remember how to write number 3 in Thai (๓). So number 2 just start with small little number 3 and then make a body and tail up (๒). Thai’s a trick.
- How to write Thai number 6 (๖) : number 6 in Thai is just like number 1 but upside down and make a little tail up.
- How to write Thai number 7 (๗) : This is very easy if you know how to write number 3 in Thai. you just simply add a curvy tail up to the sky, then you will get Thai number 7.
- How to write Thai number 8 (๘) : Firstly, you draw a little circle then add a little straight line down, then you draw a little mountain and body to cover around to the top and make a little tail lean up to the right.
- How to write Thai number 9 (๙) : First you write Thai number 3 but a little lean to left and make a tail lean up to the right. That’s it.
As per above tricks, you will see that Thai number 3 is basic of some other Thai numbers like as number 2, number 7. By the way, practicing is a great way to help you remember how to write Thai numerals. ><
